PALM BEACH IT! GIRLS ANNOUNCE NEW EVENT PRODUCTION PARTNERSHIP WITH IT! WEDDINGS & EVENTS
PALM BEACH (Dec. 8, 2009) — Perhaps every young girl dreams of a storybook wedding, collecting fabric swatches and magazine clippings of cascading bouquets, elegant wedding gowns and tablescapes throughout the years. Rarely, however, do two young women who have designed and executed those very fairytale soirees come together with a collective 15 years experience to offer their comprehensive knowledge for social, corporate and nonprofit clients.
Aime Dunstan and Blair Griffin are proud to announce the launch of It! Weddings & Events. The pair has a passion for parties, and is excited to share their chic style and limitless enthusiasm with a rarified list of It! clients.
“We have a unique vision that is completely in tune with the classic Palm Beach aesthetic,” says managing partner Blair Griffin. “It has translated to a host of blowout events from Palm Beach to Sagaponack, and we’ve had a blast in the process!”
Griffin has helmed countless successful fund-raising events, including four consecutive years executing the wildly successful “Over the Big Top” event and Spring Luncheon to benefit the Center for Creative Education. An active alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County’s class of 2008, she works extensively with the United Way of Palm Beach and is chairing the annual POSH Palm Beach sale to benefit Lighthouse International, Feb. 24-27. This year, one of Blair’s primary missions has been to found and grow the American Cancer Society’s Rising Stars Young Friends group, focusing on educating her peers about the realities of cancer with a Dec. 17 membership drive at Calypso St. Barth, Palm Beach.
“Blair and I are both extremely outgoing — quintessential extroverts,” adds Dunstan. “This business comes natural to us, as does relationship-building with our clients and exclusive vendors.”
A former event manager at CafĂ© Boulud Palm Beach and a society columnist for The Palm Beach Post, Dunstan has been active in the Junior League of the Palm Beaches for nearly five years and has produced a number of fund-raising and food & wine events. This year, the American Red Cross honored her with the privilege to chair the Preview Party for the Designers’ Show House on Jan. 20, 2010. An avid supporter of Historical Society of Palm Beach County, she also is co-chairing its 15th annual Evening on Antique Row on March 6, 2010.
It Weddings & Events specializes in the discerning taste of Palm Beach, ensuring the elegance and extravagance of your wedding, fund-raiser or special event. For more information, log on to www.itweddingsandevents.com or call 561.801.0767.
